Heath Daniel Stowe entered an Alford*fn1 plea to the charge of second degree assault of his 7-week-old son, Nicholas Stowe. He later moved to withdraw his guilty plea, contending that his counsel advised him incorrectly regarding the consequences of his plea and that he was, thus, denied effective assistance of counsel. The trial court denied the motion. Stowe appeals. We reverse and remand.
